History

Minus-3 is a privately owned company with a strong presence in the United States; mainly Southern California. In 2008, Minus-3 has expanded to offer a European market as well. Minus-3 was built on the belief that service combined with best-in-class technologies is the key to customer loyalty and long term success. Why are we called Minus-3?

This web development business originally started out as a personal website for an aspiring screenwriter from Virginia. Since there was a three hour time difference from where he wanted to go, Hollywood, California, he would always think, "my time, minus three", when contacting LA. Since all other domains were registered, he stuck with Minus-3 (even though in math, subtracting a negative, would be a positive). He made the jump to Los Angeles, and got some major work as a writer, and did some design work on the side. During the WGA strike, he focused more on website design and development. The brand evolved, and the logo changed to fit in the hyphen. Despite constant efforts to find a new name for our service, we always come back to it... Minus-3.
